CHIC Foods Participates in Shanghai Private Label Fair 2011
Offering High Quality Products for the Chinese Retail Market
CHIC Group ‘s division; CHIC Foods participated in the Shanghai Private Label Fair on the 7th-9th of December, 2011.This is the first time for CHIC Foods to attend a Private Label Fair in China, indicating that CHIC Group has steadily expanded its focus and presence into the growing Chinese local market.
 
To accelerate the development of Private Label in China, the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA), together with Shanghai International Sourcing Promotion Centre (ISPC) proudly presented the 2011 Shanghai Private Label Fair ---a platform for both retailers and suppliers.
 
In the past 24 months; the CHIC Group invested more than $US70m in building their own innovation center, located northwest of Shanghai, Chic Group’s leading-edge Jia-ding Campus sits on 55 acres with a built-up area of 23,641m². The Campus consists of 3 centres including CHIC FOODS R&D CENTRE, CHIC KNOWLEDGE CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE and CHIC GROUP CORPORATE CENTRE.
 
The campus will strengthen Chic Group’s innovation as well as R&D capability and bring more high value-added products and technology to our customers.

There are four categories of products that CHIC Food displayed at the Fair, including fruit juices, fruit cups, fresh fruit and desserts. The product range consisted of citrus, fresh apple, blueberry and pineapple SKUs.
 
CHIC Foods holds numerous third party certificates, including USA’s FPA, UK’s BSI, Germa- ny IFS, EU’s GAP, as well as the national ISO9000 and HACCP certifications. Chic Foods’ current markets cover USA, EU, Japan and Australia and include such esteemed clients as Del Monte, Heinz, Spectrum Brands, Coca-Cola and Yum! Brands.
 
CHIC Foods is an integrated international brand with value added differentiation through innovation, sustainability, food safety, quality consistency, supply chain visibility and total cost efficiency. The product traceability system which is an important part of the quality control system, effectively controls all the sectors of the quality chain. Chic Foods also formed a joint Laboratory with SGS (Chic Certified) for the testing of heavy metals and pesticide residues.
